Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026Manexus is an AI build studio. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep collection to the minimum we need to reply to you and keep the site running.
Who we are
Manexus is an AI build studio headquartered in Singapore. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
If anything here is unclear, email us. We would rather explain it than have you guess.
Information we collect
We collect what you choose to send us, plus a small amount of technical data we need to keep the site secure and working.
- Your name and email address, which are required to submit our contact form.
- Your company, phone number, indicative budget, and the services you are interested in, which are optional fields you may leave blank.
- The project details you write in your message, and how you heard about us.
- Scheduling details when you book a discovery call through our booking provider.
- The page you submitted a form from, so we know which content led you to get in touch.
- Your IP address, which we store with form submissions and use for rate limiting and spam prevention.
- Standard server and security logs generated by our hosting provider.
We do not run advertising pixels or third-party analytics trackers on this site.
How we use your information
We use personal data for a short, specific list of purposes:
- To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal or scope of work.
- To schedule and hold a discovery call you asked for.
- To protect the site through spam filtering, rate limiting, and blocking abuse.
- To meet our legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Legal bases for processing
If you are in the EU, the UK, or another region with similar laws, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Your consent, when you voluntarily submit a form or book a call. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Our legitimate interests in keeping the site secure, preventing spam, and understanding which pages bring enquiries.
- Performance of a contract, when we are preparing or delivering work you have engaged us for.
- Legal obligation, where the law requires us to retain records.
Marketing communications
We do not run a marketing mailing list today. If you contact us, we reply about your enquiry; we do not add you to a newsletter without asking.
If we introduce marketing emails in future, we will send them only where you have opted in or where the law otherwise permits, and every message will carry a one-click unsubscribe link. Opting out of marketing never stops the operational replies you asked for, such as the answer to your enquiry.
Service providers we share data with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with the providers we need to run the business, and only to the extent they need it:
- Our hosting and infrastructure provider, which serves this site and stores form submissions.
- Our email provider, which delivers your enquiry to our team.
- Our scheduling provider, which runs the booking flow for discovery calls.
- Our content delivery network, which serves images and fonts.
Each provider is bound by an agreement to process data only on our instructions. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
LinkedIn integration
We use LinkedIn's Community Management API to publish Manexus content to our own LinkedIn Page and to see how that content performs. A Manexus page administrator authorises this access through LinkedIn's OAuth consent screen, and we only access the LinkedIn Page we administer. We never ask you to connect your personal LinkedIn account to Manexus.
When LinkedIn members interact with our posts, for example by commenting or reacting, a limited amount of LinkedIn data reaches our systems. We handle it as set out below.
- The LinkedIn identifier and basic profile data of the Manexus administrator who authorises the integration, along with the access tokens LinkedIn issues to us.
- Identifiers for our LinkedIn Page, our posts, and the reactions and comments on them.
- Basic profile data of LinkedIn members who comment on or react to our posts, and the content of those comments.
- Aggregate page statistics, such as follower counts and engagement summaries.
- We cache other LinkedIn members' profile data for no longer than 24 hours, and we do not store it beyond that period.
- We retain LinkedIn members' social activity, such as the content of their comments, for no longer than 48 hours.
- We retain our own organisation's posts and engagement data for no longer than six months, and aggregate page reporting data for no longer than one year.
- We use LinkedIn data solely to operate this integration. We do not use it for advertising or ad targeting, we do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose it to third parties, and we do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.
The administrator can revoke our access at any time from LinkedIn's account settings, and LinkedIn members can remove their comments or reactions on LinkedIn at any time. When access is revoked, when a member asks us to, or when the underlying content is deleted on LinkedIn, we delete the corresponding data and the stored access tokens from our systems without delay.
If you are a LinkedIn member and you want us to delete data we hold about you, email us at the address below. We will action the request immediately and at no cost to you.
Our use of LinkedIn data is also governed by the LinkedIn API Terms of Use, and your activity on LinkedIn itself is governed by LinkedIn's own Privacy Policy.
Third-party sites and embedded services
This site links out to services we do not control, including our LinkedIn page, our job board hosted on Notion, and our scheduling provider. Some of these are embedded directly into our pages.
Once you follow a link or interact with an embedded service, that provider's own privacy policy and cookies apply to you rather than ours. We are not responsible for their practices, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing personal data with them.
How long we keep your data
We keep contact form submissions for as long as we have an active or reasonably foreseeable business relationship with you, and for up to 24 months after our last contact if no engagement follows. Records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons are held for as long as the law requires. After that, we delete or anonymise them.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner. See Your rights below.
International transfers
We operate from Singapore and work with clients and providers around the world, so your data may be processed outside your country. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or transfers to countries recognised as providing adequate protection.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:
- Access, to ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction, to ask us to fix data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Deletion, to ask us to erase your data where we have no overriding reason to keep it.
- Restriction and objection, to ask us to pause or stop certain processing.
- Portability, to ask for your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Withdrawal of consent, at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
To exercise any of these, email us. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Region-specific rights
Some jurisdictions grant additional rights. Where they apply to you, they are in addition to the rights described above.
- You hold the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability set out above.
- Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object, and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds to continue.
- You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, or with the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are in the United Kingdom.
- You may request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, where we got them, and why we collected them.
- You may request that we delete or correct your personal information.
- You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
- We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not knowingly sell the personal information of anyone under 16.
- You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, and to information about how it has been used or disclosed in the past year.
- You may request correction of an error or omission in your personal data.
- You may withdraw consent to our continued collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data, on reasonable notice.
To exercise any of these rights, email us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will not charge you for a reasonable request.
Automated decision-making and profiling
We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not build marketing profiles of you.
The only automated processing we apply to your data is the spam and rate-limit screening described above, which may flag a form submission for manual review. If your submission is blocked in error, email us and a person will look at it.
How we protect your data
We serve the site over HTTPS, restrict access to submissions to the people who need it, and apply rate limiting and spam filtering to our forms. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and we will notify you and the relevant regulator if a breach affecting you occurs.
Children's privacy
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page, and we will highlight material changes on the site. Please check back from time to time.
